Created in 2009 by Cap Digital competitiveness cluster and digital transformation, Futur en Seine has quickly established itself as an international showcase of national and international latest digital innovations. Far from being reserved for the professionals, on the contrary, it invites the general public, including young audiences, to discover applications and prototypes in the world of health, urban planning, education, recreation and more.
For 7 years, the Futur en Seine festival allows Ile companies and from all over France to present their innovations, during the first two days, to the general public and during the last two days to professional ones. For i2S, it is important to be present on this type of event, especially this year when the omnipotence of the image, immersive and engaging is a major trend of this edition. Indeed, this edition is seared by the steamroller of virtual reality: many entrepreneurs, engineers and students have seized of VR in order to explore the possibilities that lie ahead dizzying. Number of stands offering immersive experiences in health, sports and “entertainment ».
For this edition, Futur en Seine festival transforms itself in a manifest: all hacked? All hackers! Because « hacker » is around the software and hardware protection, but also divert habits in place to take control. Through several highlights, Futur en Seine sheds light on how technology not only transforms the way we produce, entertain, to do sports or to learn, but also how it acts directly on our bodies and our brains. Automation, paperless, permanent connection, Transhumanism … Not only the players are changing, but the game itself.
For economic, social and cultural changes we are going through and facing the anxiety they generate, Futur en Seine reaffirms that these are global citizens who have the tools to (re)take control of their future, deconstruct the models in place and reaffirm their ability to act and make a difference.
Through their multi-sensory dimension that touches our body as our sensations, vision and all data linked to our movements and our actions, these new technologies allow everyone to increase their perception of reality, to boost its sensory capabilities, turn or use its data and its work force.
A minority of citizens is now able to take control, to them, to weave a fabric rhizomic to influence the trajectories and educate the greatest number.
To define this vision, Futur en Seine gives a voice to the youth and entrepreneurs of change. Speakers and embody these new voices and offer an innovative future, bold and committed.
Eric Scherer, director of foresight at France Télévisions and Commissioner of Futur en Seine 2016, explains this choice. « All hacked, because the technology is now hacking our life, our daily … Tomorrow will be even more the case with virtual reality and augmented reality. All hackers: it’s time to regain control of our digital future. Digital offers us the opportunity to go out of fashion models that do not work in our society. »
« Open source drone » Dassault Systems
To complete the festival on a high note on Sunday, we have an appointment at “Gaité Lyrique”, on the Dassault Systèmes stand, « 3D experience company » in order to discover the « open source drone » prototype, a project led by fans with which i2S who would be honored to bring its solutions in processing and image capture. We share the same values as the protagonists whose aim is to invent a breakthrough innovation in the UAV sector.
We can say that the i2S company employees better motivate which eliminates hierarchical rigidity while aligning with the business strategy. Indeed, i2S is a company more agile, with employees increasingly released, where management revolutionizes the management by giving more autonomy to employees. « Squads » are developed to test and deploy solutions and these teams are not required to submit their decisions to management.
