How to sell book scanners in China

How to sell book scanners in China

For fifteen days at the end of 2015, Alex Besson, the globetrotter who manages the Asian territories for i2S, had a memorable experience in China in Kunming, Yunnan Province and Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The goal was to sell book scanners and software solutions. This trip was planned with WeChat , the application that every self-respecting Chinese « geek » uses all the time. It allowed him to talk with his clients on the other side of the the « Great Wall of China. » For our globetrotter, this has a considerable advantage: « you can send photos and videos practically in real time and receive a message in in Chinese that you translate into English.« . Nevertheless, as with any professional relationship, mutual confidence is established by spending time in the field with the clients. During those 15 days, our experienced traveler spread his wings and created conditions that fostered mutual trust. It’s true that building bridges between these two cultures constantly every day from 8 am to midnight isn’t easy, but by opening up to each other and learning about each other’s cultures in all forms, the relationship becomes easier. LIMB GALLERY at the Yunnan Province’s library. During his first week, Alex began his travels with a visit to the Library of the province of Yunnan, one of our prestigious clients in that area, one that has invested in our  LIMB Gallery™ digital library solution. During this journey, Alex accompanied the client for the launch of this software solution accompanied by the software development team recruited locally by SWOLF, our local Chinese partner. http://msq.ynlib.cn/ The digital library was online very quickly, ready to make digitized images available almost instantly...
24H of Innovation in a Booster of Creativity

24H of Innovation in a Booster of Creativity

After our trip to the land of innovation and creativity, at 24H of innovation, in Bidart in the Basque country, we returned to earth to i2Sons. In twenty-four hours, we met more than three hundred students from engineering schools, commerce, communication, and marketing schools, teachers, CEO’s and local authorities, all open to the “new world” which surrounds us and who know the way to innovation even for one moment. As all companies present at this edition, i2S decided to challenge the Y and Z generations. An invigorating trans-generational mix was blended with a cocktail of creativity and a shared passion. Arriving Friday morning, we started with Bertrand Barré’s conference, a former high-level athlete. Bertrand is the head of the Zebra Group and advises the largest companies in innovation using a method that he invented called Oblique Vision where the  references are as much to pick in the CAC 40 as they are in international companies such as Unilever. According to him, “innovation is an invention that meets the market “. This man is a growth booster for innovated entrepreneurs. Humble and creative, he starts off his presentation with humor and discernment on the world of innovation, particularly when it comes to business, which is designed and structured as a hospice of innovation involving formatted consultants and asking the wrong questions about the ability to invent new « disruptive » products. With disconcerting humor, he makes fun of himself and other consultants and businesses which have access to resources from the same schools and handled by the CEO’s mastering the « mixed product “ which he calls “the right move mixer “ verbalized by the same ingredients...
i2S at the 24H Innovation day

i2S at the 24H Innovation day

This weekend we’re on a mission: we have 24 hours to save the world with creativity and innovation. A squad of creatives, programmers and engineers made up of Stéphane Arnould, David Larbi, Pascal Thuilliez and Fabien Cleenewerck, is leaving on a quest on the dreamlike paths of creation and personal enrichment. At i2S, we’re opening ourselves up more to the outside world, and even more to new generations. Through our DNA, creative innovation in images, which is constantly being renewed, our goal is to « source » future talents at these kinds of events and to get to know both generations Y and Z and the polymorphism of innovation. For a CEO, crunching numbers is perfectly fine when market shares, profitability and growth are performance indicators. However, those performance indicators no longer guide today’s captains of industry. Indeed, our mantra, collective intelligence, is at the heart of our considerations. Innovating together, co-creation, is no longer just a utopian dream. We’re opening our spheres of activity to communities that bring value to i2S every day. Collective innovation generates « bottom up » ideas, by creating digital workshops (fablab, Open Bidouille) to develop creativity and agile prototyping. We are loudly proclaiming our leap of faith, open innovation is at the heart of our development. By inspiring new avenues of the possible, the expertise, the projects, the risks as well as the stakes are shared. Today our capacity for innovation is reinforced as much by the setup of devices as by the desire to constantly examine groundbreaking innovations. At i2S, we have to reflect on the reasons and the motivations for the innovation: « Will this improve...
