i2S innovation confirms its ambitions with the launch of a new Common Laboratory PLIIS

A partnership culture for innovation Within the framework of the technological development of its products dedicated to imaging,i2S is constantly looking for innovation in both areas of lighting, optics, image processing and embedded electronics. In recent years,i2S has developed numerous research agreements with academic partners to provide products and the most innovative solutions to our customers. Driven by this culture of partnership i2S and OPCL(Organic Polymer Chemistry Laboratory) won a call for the National Research Agency (ANR) project for the creation of a joint laboratory PLIIS: Polymers Laboratory for Innovative Imaging solutions that aims to develop innovative technologies based on organic electronics for the imagining field. PLIIS: ambitious goals This joint laboratory will work for a minimum of three years to bring out the new technologies, among others,to increase the image quality and the sensors resolution, exploring electro-optical properties of organic polymers. The identified axes of work of this LabCom will have direct market outlets for i2S markets and customers. This joint laboratory will benefit the entire OPCL infrastructure including the ELORPrintTec platform,a complete single chain in Europe dedicated to the printing of organic electronic components, financed for the future investments, the Aquitaine and Arkema Region as part of EquipEx (Excellence Equipment). To be read: 13,3 million to hasten the transition to the industry. « In recent years,we joined,as part of a Chair of Excellence the Arkema-Region Aquitaine-University of Bordeaux-Bordeaux INP and today as an Industrial Chair ANR/Arkema,a dynamic team within the OPCL with skills in chemistry, physical chemistry, and physics of polymer materials for organic electronics, optics, dielectric and piezoelectric/ferroelectric: of the organic polymer material to the devices through the implementation of bonding processes. Moreover, the « Eric Coutetde » material...
