Over the years, i2S has built an international network of renowned industrial partners, international and local integration specialists, cooperative international distributors, service providers, engineering offices and research laboratories. This network allows i2S to have cooperative and specialized resources which it is then able to make available to its customers during project development. i2S maintains these partnerships with the goals of knowledge cross-pollination, transparent strategies and resource sharing. These technological partnerships are therefore strong and long-lasting, and they guarantee the quality and continuity of our design services.
The Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI, specializing in image processing, video tracking and indexing, 3D vision and virtual reality), the RFV Laboratory at INSA in LYON which specializes in document image processing and digital books, the L3I Laboratory at the University of la ROCHELLE (a multi-criteria classification specialist), the Centre de Physique Moléculaire et Ondes Hertzienne at the University of BORDEAUX (CPMOH, a specialist in lasers and wave optics) are all examples of university partnerships that allow i2S to develop solutions using the latest advances in image acquisition, image processing and associated data mining.
Another example, in the industrial sector, is NOVALASE, a company that specializes in Opto-Mechanics, and which jointly developed with i2S the camera used in the famous CopiBook and which manufactures many of the optical modules making up the OEM assemblies produced by i2S.
In certain cases, i2S becomes involved in the initial stages of new innovative companies. It assists management in the progressive development of their business and can, in certain cases, take justifiable minority stakes in the company. This is how i2S has become a share-holder in ASSY, the designer and manufacturer of the DIGITIZING LINE, and in ARKHENUM, the French leader in the digitization and valorization of cultural heritage.
In order to better serve certain industrial major accounts, i2S has taken the initiative to create a group of companies for the purpose of responding to particular requirements or for supporting its customers with a durable solution. As the result of these efforts, and acting under the stimulation and with the assistance of the THALES group, i2S started and is now leading shareholder of the Aquitaine Inter Group (AIG s.a.s) company, which groups together 6 share-holding or associate companies, and is specialized in the creation and maintenance of test and calibration benches.
The main international companies in the field of industrial vision, such as MATROX, SONY, DALSA, FUJINON, etc. have chosen i2S to represent them and market their products in FRANCE.
